Collaborative Gathering for Practitioners
- We are excited to invite you to MitMission taking place in Lindow (Mark), Germany from 16th to 19th October 2023.
What is MitMission about?
- A common cause and purpose of this year’s gathering is how to work impactful in peripheries
- Exchange and collaboration between practitioners from the MitOst network and beyond
MitMission is MitOst’s annual network gathering being the successor and new format of MitOst Festival. It brings engaged people and practitioners from civil society, arts, culture, social innovation, and public sector together around one thematic focus. For four days, we will create a safer, inclusive, and participatory space to enable new connections, knowledge transfer and exchange of good practices. We will discuss challenges and potentials in the field, as well as celebrate and support the co-creation of new project ideas. This year’s theme is working in peripheries. Aligned with the thematic focus, the MitMission takes place in Lindow (Mark), a small town in Brandenburg, Germany.
MitMission is co-organized and hosted by Plattform Paradies, an association of cultural workers. Plattform Paradies creates encounters, encourages social interaction and builds community through cultural activities in Lindow (Mark) and Ostprignitz-Ruppin region, Germany. You will get the chance to explore some of their practices such as revitalization of the train station, which is currently renovated to be a community space for hosting diverse activities and projects.

MitMission is organized in cooperation between MitOst and Plattform Paradies. Plattform Paradies is an association based in Lindow (Mark). The plattforms’ current seven members are cultural workers with many years of practical experience in different artistic disciplines and the international field. Plattform Paradies creates encounters, encourages social interaction and builds a community through cultural activities in Lindow (Mark) and Ostprignitz-Ruppin region. The starting point of its work is the train station in Lindow (Mark), which is used for events and projects.
